One Month Photos

So, as I settle into Monday morning this week, we enter a whole new era. Brendan is off at school, Rob is off doing errands (picking up a double wide twin-sized nursing pillow and more formula and soothers) and I am here at home with the twins. School seems to have gone great for Brendan on Friday. He came home with his own backpack, his beloved red baseball cap and someone else's sweater (we've sent it back with him today). He says it was fun, but he didn't like it. His first story off the bus was about a boy named Kevin who cried and cried because he wouldn't put the trains away. He claims he is not Kevin, but we'll have to check at Parent Teacher night. He seems to have avoided getting in trouble (he knocked a boy over when he was being a frog, his words, not mine, but didn't get a time out), he read Golilocks and the 3 Bears and ran out of juice at lunch time. This made him cry and cry he said. I sent the poor guy with 2 juice boxes! This morning he is going with a giant thermos full of juice to help avoid that problem. He wasn't keen on going this morning (translation; small scale tantrum), until he changed his mind and was very worried he would miss the bus. Some people are so inconsistant!

Had a little time last night to load photos off of the cameras, so it's time for another 5 or 6 part photo post. I will start with more pictures of Brendan's first day of kindergarten. We set up chairs at the end of the driveway to wait for the bus. I walked him on, and then he drove away, just like that! The final picture may be hard to see; we followed the bus to school and the last shot is of Brendan (all dressed in red) running across the playground towards the other kids. Seeing that made me feel much better!
